The start of TAVI scanner annotation marks a crucial stage in the RHU ENVISAGE project, as it creates reliable and homogeneous databases for cardiovascular image analysis. Each image is processed according to SOPs rigorously defined by our technical partners, 3Mensio and Materialise, guaranteeing high standards of accuracy and traceability.
This phase involves close collaboration between the clinical teams and the project fellows, who are trained and supervised by Dr. Bonnet. The fellows learn to annotate cardiac structures in a standardized way, providing an indispensable foundation for future training of artificial intelligence models and for clinical validation.
Beyond the methodological aspect, this step illustrates the educational dimension of RHU ENVISAGE: it enables young clinicians to become familiar with annotation protocols and actively contribute to the constitution of high-quality data. The whole process is designed to ensure reproducibility of analyses, support scientific research and prepare for the project's future clinical applications.
