The ENVISAGE RHU aims to structure integrated hospital-university research, combining clinical research, medical imaging and development of artificial intelligence-based tools.
From data to artificial intelligence in cardiology
The project is based on a complete healthcare data value chain, from acquisition to algorithmic exploitation:
- Constitution and governance of multimodal clinical and imaging databases;
- Structured annotation of data (echocardiography, scans, clinical data);
- Development of artificial intelligence models ;
- Integration of heterogeneous data (imaging, clinical, functional parameters) ;
Artificial intelligence developments include automated analysis of cardiovascular images (segmentation, quantification, morphological characterization), predictive modeling of the risk and evolution of valvulopathies, and the development of clinical decision support tools integrating multimodal data.
Particular attention is paid to the quality, structuring and standardization of the data used to train the models, to the robustness, reproducibility and generalizability of the algorithms, to the interpretability of the models developed, and to their compatibility with regulatory constraints and clinical uses.
The RHU ENVISAGE constitutes a first structuring step focused on the development of artificial intelligence tools applied to valvulopathies. The results generated by the project are intended to feed into subsequent phases of clinical validation and deployment in medical practice.
